For Stacy Blair Young, the real estate business is about one thing: people. Yes, she has over 30 years of real estate experience and a prestigious alphabet soup of certifications “CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative), SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist). But those, like the computers and advertising and contracts, are simply tools that help her focus on the immediate individual needs of her clients.
“Relationships and information are two key elements in any real estate transaction. I enjoy creating those relationships, hopefully lifetime relationships. I want to make a difference in the quality of people’s lives,” she says. “Whether they’re selling or buying, they need to know about today’s market conditions and what to expect. They need a good listener, the right strategy, expert negotiating skills and someone in whom they can place their trust with one of the biggest investment of their lives. It’s exciting to work closely with clients, to figure out our approach, and then to make it happen.”
Making it happen is a hallmark of Stacy’s service, and the reason her business is comprised entirely of repeat and referral clients. She gets referrals not only from her past clients, but also, she explains, “I get a lot of referrals from other agents. I’m one of the agents that other agents feel really good about referring their clients to.”
